Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity (ADHD) Testing

What Is ADHD?

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It is a neurological disorder that commonly affects children but can also persist into adulthood. Individuals with ADHD may have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, which can impact their ability to focus, organize tasks, and control their behaviors. ADHD is diagnosed based on specific criteria outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). Treatment for ADHD may include medication, therapy, and behavior management strategies to help individuals manage their symptoms and improve their daily functioning.

ADHD interactive testing starts at age 5.

ADHD assessments include various tests, including a computerized interactive assessment tool used to evaluate attention and impulsivity in individuals, particularly those with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. By analyzing the individual's performance on the test, clinicians can gain insight into their attention and impulse control abilities, which can help with diagnosis and treatment planning for conditions like ADHD. This assessment aims to formally establish or rule out a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and determine its subtype.
